A Fastpass for #WDMDisneyMeets

So, I came across an Instagram Story by Emily over at WannaBeMouseketeer saying she wanted to host a Disney Meet in London and as I've previously hosted Disney meets, I started by offering her some advice.

We got talking, as you do, and decided on a hashtag! As what event doesn't have a hashtag dedicated to it these days?! That and they make for an easy way to collectively gather all the information about the event in one place. The details before, during and after! The conversation went on to Disney Fastpass' as that is one of the way's I 'marketed' my previous Disney meets as what else would grab the attention of a Disney fan more than a Disney Fastpass?!

The amusing thing is, I am even debating whether to do something similar as my Save the Dates for my upcoming wedding. Well, I say upcoming but it's not officially booked yet but that hasn't stopped me from planning little aspects of it already! Although I am very undecided as I think they'd go over the heads of a lot of people, so do I want to spend my time explaining the meaning of them to everyone?!

And that was that! By the next morning she had herself a Disney Fastpass for her upcoming meet! We themed it after Cars as her catchphrase is "Kachow" and I couldn't be happier that she's happy with it. She did even say she might just get them printed for a little keepsake for those that attend! Which is something I did when I previously made Disney Fastpasses for the meets I used to host!

And if you, or anyone you know wants a their own Disney Fastpass, be it for a meet, wedding or something else you know where I am! Sadly I can't make this particular meet, but I really wish I could! But if you're going, you're going to have a blast!

For those that didn't know that I previously made my own Disney Fastpass' for previous meets. I made three! All of which were based off different themes, so Pirates of the Caribbean, a mix of Peter Pan's Flight and just Fantasyland and Aladdin and it excites me to see it being a thing again and getting to be a part of it!

Rebrand of Jordan and Stitch

So, I wanted to take a moment to record the fact I helped Jordan from Jordan and Stitch to rebrand her small business ahead of the new year.

I couldn't be happier with the results, and Jordan couldn't either. As it represented her brand to a 'tee'. Lilo and Stitch inspired her name and as she sews the stitch has a double meaning. So I just had to represent both meanings within the logo itself. With the Stitch colours and paw print and the stitching around the edge of the logo something I took from her previous branding.

To finish off, I made some Instagram Story covers so her brand can be seen throughout her Instagram, grabbing the attention of anyone who stumbled across her page.

It felt amazing being able help a friend, and find my inner creative at the same time! I've missed this! And technically this means I am putting my Computer Graphics degree to got use, aye.

Additionally if you're looking for anything similar, I'm happy to help if I can.

The Story So Far...

So, instead of this page of mine sitting sad and unloved I thought it would be a great place to record all my accomplishments as and when they happen. But what have I got up to creatively so far...

I started the year by creating a new Instagram, which revolves around all things Disney. Surprise, surprise. I did have one before, but I deleted that. This time around despite having a small following compared to my old account, the interaction and engagement was better as I connected more with my audience.

This time around I've made actual friends with some of my followers, as cliche as it is. But it felt so much better than before, I was inspired again! All of my photographs are and always will be taken with my Nikon D3500 and getting that is what inspired me to get back in the Disney Instagram community.

Over the year I've worked with a lot of people that I can now call my friends. Through being their brand representative, creating content, collaborating and launching a Kickstarter together or designing their new branding. It's been a crazy year, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I feel empowered! And it's so fulfilling, especially as I get to be creative!

And that's the reason for this 'blog', as the years go on I want to have a place where I can just record all of this! Shout about my accomplishments and give myself a way at looking back at all I've achieved and how far I've come.

Maybe, just maybe, you'll enjoy seeing where this journey of life takes me, as much as I will enjoy looking back at it!
